Özgün İnşaat's Support Following the Rockfall at the Bejaia Aokas Tunnel

On October 12, a rockfall occurred at the western entrance of the Aokas Tunnel, located on the RN 09 road connecting the Algerian cities of Béjaïa, Setif, and Jijel. A previous landslide in the same area had caused a large-scale rockfall that claimed 15 lives. To avoid a similar outcome, the Governor of Bejaia, the DTP, and Civil Defense mobilized, requesting support from Özgün İnşaat's Kherrata Project to quickly find a solution and mitigate the risk. Immediately following on-site inspections by Project Manager Mr. Cenk İlker and our Production Manager Mr. Süleyman Taşatan, work began in the area and the necessary precautions were taken. The Governor of Bejaia and the DTP Director expressed their appreciation and thanked our company and our teams for completing the intervention in as little as a single day.
