Özgün İnşaat Supports Algeria's Energy Journey with Two Different Solar Power Plant Projects

As part of the renewable energy tenders launched under Algeria's energy transition policies, Özgün İnşaat will carry out the 362 MWp Laghouat and 82 MWp Guerrara solar power plant projects.

Özgün İnşaat has succeeded in winning both major tenders published under the program led by the Sonelgaz Group, which aims to make the most of Algeria's renewable energy potential. With these achievements, the company continues to represent Turkey on the global stage. This important step in renewable energy will increase Algeria's energy independence, ensure environmental sustainability, and contribute to its economic development.

The signing ceremony for the cooperation agreements, attended by Algeria's Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy Ms. Faiza Dahleb and Algeria's Minister of Energy Mr. Mohamed Arkab, took place on March 14, 2024.

Under the projects, Özgün İnşaat will carry out the construction works involving the connection of the plant switchyards to the transformer centers of the electricity transmission system switchyard.
