Phase 1 TBM Excavation Completed on the Pendik-Kaynarca-Fevzi Çakmak Metro Project

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the first phase of TBM excavation for the Pendik-Kaynarca-Fevzi Çakmak Metro Line Project, undertaken by Özgün İnşaat as contractor. Construction, which began following the announcement of the tender results on September 30, 2022, has now reached a tunnel length of 4.90 kilometers in its first phase.

Planned for completion in 2025, the Pendik-Kaynarca-Fevzi Çakmak metro line will offer enhanced connectivity options by integrating with several key transportation networks:

Tavşantepe Station: Kadıköy-Kartal Metro. Kaynarca Merkez Station: the newly completed Tavşantepe-Sabiha Gökçen Metro Line. Pendik Merkez Station: the Marmaray high-speed rail line and sea routes. İçmeler Station: the Marmaray network.
