The Thenia-Tizi Ouzou Electric Railway Line Has Opened

Construction and electrification works on the 50-kilometer Thénia-Tizi Ouzou railway line, carried out by the joint venture of Texeira Duarte (Portugal), Özgün İnşaat (Turkey), ETRHB Haddad (Algeria), and ENYSE (Spain), are nearly complete. The line, which was opened by Minister of Transport Boudjemaa Talai and will soon enter service, held its first trial run on 03.04.2017.
